Radishes in your skincare? Yes really!

We use a special radish filtrate as one of our natural alternatives to parabens. Thus preserving your products and extending their shelf life without the need for chemicals.

Radish root filtrate appears as Leuconostoc on ingredients listings. It was discovered after scientists noticed that chickens fed on a vegetable filtrate diet recovered significantly better after coming into contact with avian flu. This being due to the anti bacterial properties of the vegetables, namely radishes, in the feed.

You can find it in our wonderful Deep Cleansing Balm with Sweet Orange, Neroli, Mandarin and Clary Sage.
